Our Services
We Rebuild Foundations

We teach a lot of old school math, typically in a one-on-one highly concentrated environment. We step in when students have all but given up. We do this by rebuilding their math foundation, going back as far as necessary, at a pace most beneficial to them.
We empower students to excel and reach their full potential in ways they never thought possible, thereby, helping them regain their previously impacted self-confidence and alleviate those overwhelming frustrations from math anxiety. Then, we ingrain them with tools for math success from that point forward.

Depending on the student's individual needs and grade level, we typically conduct highly focused and intensive tutoring sessions at least twice a week, a schedule that, while outside the norm, has proven exceptionally effective for our students.
Our approach involves revisiting foundational math concepts that are essential for understanding current material. It's not uncommon for us to delve back into elementary mathematics to fill in gaps in knowledge that schools may have assumed were already mastered. From there, we advance students at their individual pace. We have been successfully employing this method since 2010, consistently achieving tremendous success with children in our program.
We are not just a band-aid... We focus on building an indestructible math foundation first. Our ultimate goal is always to provide your child with the necessary tools to thrive on his/her own.
We often tutor using old school methods and explanations. In fact, typically, the student is not even allowed to pick up a graphing calculator until they first learn to both comprehend and compute the math by hand.
We fill in any and all learning gaps before moving forward. If your child can't explain what he just learned to his tutor, then he's not ready for the next layer of learning. Every layer is important for rebuilding that solid foundation.
We often formulate methods of explanation based on the student's personal interests and hobbies.
We are intense, but encouraging. It's hard work, but extremely rewarding.
